My DealSpotr Review
Let’s take a look at the process of saving and earning money with DealSpotr. I will also share my personal experience with the website, as well as tips to help you earn and save more!
How to Save Money on DealSpotr
Once you set up your account, you’re ready to start saving money. Use the search bar at the top to find your favorite brands or items you may be looking to buy.
Follow your favorite brands and the special deals, codes and coupons associated with the brand you’re following will show up in your feed. You can also follow people and interests. When you find a deal you like, click it to enjoy the savings or use the promo code or coupon when making your purchase. It really is that easy!
There are all kinds of deals that you can use to save money. Promo codes, BOGO deals, and free shipping coupons are just a few examples. There are also printable coupons uploaded by other users from time to time. You can save in store too!
How to Make Money on DealSpotr
In addition to saving money with Dealspotr, you can make money, too. To make money, all you have to do is post deals to earn points. Other ways to earn points is by commenting and/or validating the deals you take advantage of.
Each day, you will have a checklist of 3-4 tasks to do. Completing this checklist will earn you a bonus on top of the points you already accumulate for doing tasks. I typically finish my checklists within 20-30 minutes each day. Some days, that’s all I do. Other days, I do a little more to keep my points balance growing.
Even if you are a super busy mom with carpooling, homeschooling, soccer practice, dinner, and 1,500 tasks on your to-do list, you can still use DealSpotr. I sometimes do it on my computer, but I usually just open my phone and do it. It’s easy to navigate on a mobile device so I can complete my checklist anywhere.
How to Post a Deal
When you have a deal to share, start by searching for the store. Click the “Add a deal” button beneath the store name. You can choose to enter a promo code, coupon or sale announcement, in-store printable, or notable price.
When adding a promo code, the website will show you the current codes available. If you have one that is not listed, get it added! You will need to supply the details, exclusions, and redemption instructions as well. Be sure to include a screenshot of the details of the code or your checkout process where the code worked successfully. This will greatly increase your points!
When adding a printable coupon, you will need to include a screenshot of the coupon. This allows other users to quickly print the coupon for their shopping trip.
When adding a noteworthy price, find the next best price for an item online. You will need to link to the sale as well as the comparable price. This ensures your deal is the best one out there!
How to Validate a Deal
If a deal you want to share is already posted on DealSpotr, you can earn points by proving that it’s valid. Follow the instructions on the deal as if you were going to really use it. Screenshot your shopping cart if using an online deal. Click the validate symbol on the deal and leave your screenshot and tips for redeeming the deal.
Earning Points with DealSpotr
It is important to be the first one to share a new deal on DealSpotr. You will earn points for validating existing deals but you get more for posting new ones. Plus, they have the chance to go “HOT” or “ON FIRE” and earn you more points!
I usually check my emails from my favorite brands first thing in the morning. I add any deals I can to DealSpotr right then, as I go through my inbox. I can usually add 2-4 new deals each day by doing this. Even if most are already added, I can still earn by validating them!
The more points you earn, the further you move up in status. You can receive the Bronze status first, then the Silver and last the Gold status, which offers bonus points to help you build up your points faster. Once you acquire 10,000 points, you can turn them in for a gift card for Amazon where you can use the money you earned to save on your next purchase. Gold status also lets you cash out via PayPal!
I have been on DealSpotr for 10 days, at the time of this writing. In that time, I have accumulated a $30 Amazon Gift Card! A couple of my deals have when “HOT” which has helped, but most of it has been from validating existing deals and posting new ones.
