Over the weekend, my family and I headed to LEGOLand Atlanta to check out the media preview for their festive Brick-or-Treat Weekend! Every Saturday and Sunday in October, you can celebrate Halloween with your favorite toys blocks!
Also, from October 5 – December 14, there is Superhero Sundays! Any child that visits LEGOLand wearing a superhero costume will receive a Kids Go Free voucher for a return visit. The attraction will also be treating local non-profit organizations to day of fun every Sunday as well.
Along with the usual fun attractions at LEGOLand, the Brick-or-Treat offers a scavenger hunt for LEGO pumpkins. Basically, you have to guess how many pumpkins are in the entire place. James and I tried to keep count, but it was hard.
There are many, I will tell you that! At the end of the our visit, we submitted a guess for a chance to win an annual pass!
There was also a cute LEGO pumpkin patch just outside the cafe. This provides visitors with even more fun building with LEGOs, and you can test your building skills to see if you can build the spookiest pumpkin for the patch. Trick-or-treating at the end of the day was fun too. Sawyer got himself a little stash of candy before we left.
Don’t forget about the Brick-or-Treat Costume Contest on October 25th and 26th at 12pm and 3pm both days. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, but everyone will receive a certificate for participating!
I personally love Halloween events because we like to celebrate all month long rather than one night of October. Plus, it’s another chance for your kiddos to wear their costumes, so what’s not to love about LEGOLand’s Brick-or-Treat?!
