I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias #cbias. Amazon has always been my “go to” website when online shopping. I have purchased birthday and Christmas presents, party supplies and decor, and even shoes for my kiddo on their website. Now that they have come out with #AmazonCart, I see even more shopping in my future! What is Amazon Cart, you ask? It’s a new way of getting products you want and need into your Amazon shopping cart for checkout. While browsing Twitter, you can now have items sent directly to your cart so you’ll be ready to checkout when you open Amazon.com! How simple is that?! Since I’m on Twitter A LOT with my iPhone, I often see things tweeted that I’d like to own or research more when I have time. Once that free time comes, I have forgotten all about the item if I don’t bookmark or make a note. Sometimes I still forget, thanks to having 13,347 other things to do most days! With Amazon’s new service, I don’t have to worry about forgetting. The items from Twitter can be ready to purchase in my Amazon cart and at my front door within days. I was recently feeling that my mom’s Mother’s Day gift needed one more item to complete it. While browsing Twitter, I noticed an Amazon deal for a 32 GB memory card. Since my mom likes to fill those cards up with photos rather than delete anything, I thought this large card would be perfect to finish her present. For simple online shopping without leaving Twitter, I replied to the tweet with the hashtag #AmazonCart. Since it was my first time using this new method, I was directed to a link to connect my Twitter account with my Amazon account. That took less than a minute to do. Once the Twitter authorization is complete, further uses of #AmazonCart result in an @ reply stating the item is in your cart and ready for you. After my “Twitter shopping,” I logged into Amazon later that evening on my computer. Going to check out, I noticed that the SD card was in my cart and ready for purchase. Using my Amazon Prime membership for the purchase, my items (the card plus other things previously placed in my cart) were on my door step in less than 48 hours! Even with my last minute shopping and using #AmazonCart on Twitter, I was able to give my mom her Mother’s Day gift on time! Here is a video I watched before shopping to learn more about AmazonCart:
